A blizzard is coming and your emperor penguins have only each other.

Penguins in the middle of the huddle stay warm; the ones on the windward edge freeze. Click a blue (freezing) penguin to swap it into the warm middle, send warm penguins out on a belly-slide for fish, and scare off the skuas, petrels and leopard seals that come for the weak and the lonely.

Every fish is XP: level up and build your colony with upgrades and evolutions (Igloo, Creche, Feast, Phalanx, Hearth). Survive the waves of wind and snow as day turns to polar night, then spend your shells on permanent upgrades and try again.

Controls

• Click a cold (blue) penguin — it swaps into the warm middle. Click a warm one — it relieves the nearest cold one.
• Click a fish — a warm penguin slides out to fetch it (careful: seals wait at far fish).
• Click predators to scare them off.
• Keyboard: Space = warm the coldest · WASD/arrows = pick a penguin · F = fish · E = scare · 1/2/3 = cards · Q = reroll · Esc = pause · R = restart
